Salesian members develop new Web site for multilingual news agency

ROME (CNS) -- Agenzia Info Salesiana and its contributors of Salesian priests and laypeople from around the world have developed a revamped Web site for its multilingual news agency. Father Donato Lacedonio, director of Agenzia Info Salesiana, told reporters May 4 that the news service provides news "from around the Salesian world" by gathering reports from the order's members and collaborators. Over the past year, the Department for Social Communication of the Salesians has been evaluating and reorganizing the agency. Its Web site -- which provides audio, video and photographic reports in addition to standard text news in six languages -- went online May 6. The Web address is: www.infoans.org.
