LANDER, Wyo. (CNS) -- A new Catholic college near Wyoming's Red Canyon has begun recruiting students for its first class in August 2007. Father Bob Cook, president of Wyoming Catholic College, said the college has produced printed materials for interested young people and their parents, including a promotional book, a college catalog and handbook plus all necessary application documents for admission, financial aid and scholarships. "These materials contain all of the information about the college's philosophy, curriculum and programs, illustrating that Wyoming Catholic College offers a unique educational opportunity to its students," said Father Cook, who is a priest of the Cheyenne Diocese. The college will provide a liberal arts education featuring a curriculum built around the Great Books and spiritual formation in the Catholic tradition, along with a variety of outdoors-oriented programs. The college's newly expanded Web site -- www.wyomingcatholiccollege.com -- offers downloadable versions of the promotional materials and application documents.
