Pittsburgh Catholic's Feb. 17 issue goes to all registered households
Published: 2006-02-08
PITTSBURGH (CNS) -- The Pittsburgh Catholic newspaper will nearly double its circulation from 110,000 to 200,000 by mailing its Feb. 17 issue to every registered household in the diocese. "This is the third year of this semiannual mailing to all registered households," said Robert Lockwood, general manager of the Pittsburgh Catholic. "A marketing survey from last spring's mailing showed exceptionally good response from people who ordinarily don't receive the newspaper," Lockwood added. "It confirmed our belief that the paper is a good vehicle for outreach and evangelization." The Feb. 17 issue includes, among other things, the paper's popular Lent-Easter calendar, containing reflections and ideas for family activities.
