Published: 2006-01-26
HARRISBURG, Pa. (CNS) -- Father T. Ronald Haney has resigned as executive editor of The Catholic Witness, newspaper of the Harrisburg Diocese, and as diocesan secretary for communications, effective Feb. 3. Last September Father Haney marked 30 years in both posts. With the permission of Harrisburg Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades, Father Haney will also retire from active ministry. He will remain in residence at St. Theresa Parish in New Cumberland. "It has been a most satisfying ministry," Father Haney said. "I hope and pray that I have been of some help to those who are readers of our diocesan newspaper."
