BALTIMORE (CNS) -- Lutheran Services in America has a solution for all the unwanted holiday gifts that can't be returned: regift them for charity. The Baltimore-based organization is getting ready to sponsor its first online auction called Trading Graces to benefit Lutheran health and human services organizations across the country. The auction will be conducted by Mission Fish, eBay's charity support division, Feb. 26-March 8. "We have some great items to auction, and we still need many more to help raise funds to assist others in need," said Jill Schumann, president and CEO of Lutheran Services. The items to be auctioned include a commemorative John Wayne oil painting, a Hmong needlework bedspread, a Burlon Craig pottery pitcher and a 300-pound wooden giraffe. Information about donating items or participating in Trading Graces is available by phone at: (410) 230-3548, or online at: www.lutheranservices.org.
