MILWAUKEE (CNS) -- In a few minutes one night last April, Sister Mary Jo Kahl's life changed. She went from being an innocent bystander to becoming the victim of a carjacking. The 66-year-old Franciscan Sister of Mary also began a new journey of faith that has made her a promoter of restorative justice, pushing for a lighter sentence for one of her attackers and working with him to change his life.
