CINCINNATI (CNS) -- The National Association of Church Personnel Administrators has announced the appointment of Mary Jo Moran, who has held several management positions in the nonprofit sector, as its executive director. Thomas P. Conklin, NACPA board president, said in a press release that Moran "brings a wealth of experience, energy and creativity" to the organization. "I am confident that Mary Jo's leadership, coupled with NACPA staff expertise, will foster NACPA's mission," he added. In her new role, Moran will assist the board and staff of NACPA in implementing its mission and vision and will oversee its representation to professional and church groups. The association was formed in 1971 to identify competencies for church human resource managers, develop church personnel systems and advocate standards of just treatment for church personnel.
