Catholic school's Christian band has following in mid-Atlantic region

Published: 2005-06-16

HARRISBURG, Pa. (CNS) -- In just three years, Lancaster Catholic High School's contemporary Christian music band has earned a solid reputation and attracted a base of loyal fans throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Parish festivals, Christian coffee houses and Catholic youth rallies in Pennsylvania and Maryland are just some of the faith-based venues from which Final Hour points souls to Christ and shares the Gospel message through music. Now the 10 students who are members of Final Hour are prayerfully and professionally prepping their band to make the leap from regional recognition to international exposure. "Our biggest gig yet is to play at World Youth Day in Germany this year," said Lauren Darrencamp, who will be a senior next year and is a member of the band's crew.
