
Cardinal Keeler of Baltimore recovering from knee surgery

BALTIMORE (CNS) -- Cardinal William H. Keeler of Baltimore is recovering from total knee replacement surgery. The cardinal had surgery at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson May 25. He has been recovering at his Charles Street residence after being released from the hospital. The cardinal's schedule has been limited during the rehabilitation period. According to The Catholic Review, newspaper of the Baltimore Archdiocese, his recovery is progressing normally but it is expected that it will be some time before he can resume his normal schedule.
