Published: 2004-11-08

WASHINGTON (CNS) -- Ana Villamil Kelly, associate director of the Secretariat for Family, Laity, Women and Youth at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, has been named director of FADICA's Future Foundation Leadership Venture. The FADICA program is aimed at developing the skills and grant-making experience of younger adult Catholics. Francis J. Butler, president of the Washington-based Foundations and Donors Interested in Catholic Activities, said Kelly will bring to her new post "invaluable experience" she has gained at lay leadership forums around the country and international gatherings of Catholic young people. "We are eager to put Ana's know-how to work in the world of Catholic philanthropy," he said. Kelly, a 1982 graduate of the University of Notre Dame and a 1987 graduate of the Wharton School of Business, holds graduate degrees from the Florida Institute of Technology and the Washington Theological Union.
