Proclaim Awards honor communications efforts in 14 U.S. dioceses

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (CNS) -- The Catholic Communication Campaign honored 14 U.S. dioceses with its 2004 Proclaim Awards and certificates of merit at a luncheon Oct. 22 in West Hollywood. The awards honoring excellence in diocesan communications were presented as part of the annual assembly of the Catholic Academy for Communications Arts Professionals, formerly known as Unda USA. Both the Diocese of Scranton, Pa., and the Archdiocese of Hartford, Conn., won multiple awards and were repeat winners.
