Ignatius Press launches new Web site for Catholic readers
Published: 2004-09-14
SAN FRANCISCO (CNS) -- Ignatius Press has launched a new online journal of culture, theology and news that will allow readers to communicate directly with the publishing house's authors. IgnatiusInsight.com -- edited and produced by author and Catholic apologist Carl E. Olson -- is billed by the San Francisco-based publisher as a Web site "for the thoughtful Catholic reader." "We want to provide Catholic readers with a Web site where they can read insightful, informative articles, interviews and reviews, knowing that the Ignatius Press authors are orthodox and proud of it," Olson said. Olson, raised as a fundamentalist, entered the Catholic Church in 1997 and holds a master's degree in theology from the University of Dallas. He is the co-author of "The Da Vinci Hoax" and "Will Catholics Be 'Left Behind'?"
