NEW YORK (CNS) -- Emily Burns of Greencastle, Pa., took first place and a $1,000 prize in The Christophers' annual poster contest for high school students for her black-and-white rendering of the world being molded on a potter's wheel. "Each year the creativity and the positive messages we see in the thousands of entries give all of us involved a feeling of hope on so many levels," said Dennis W. Heaney, president of The Christophers. Second place and a $500 prize went to Hannah Feist of Wells, Minn., for her photograph depicting a small boy emulating a young man.
