WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CNS) -- A new series tackling religious and spiritual issues, "Faith Under Fire," will debut this fall on the Pax network. The show will be hosted by Lee Strobel, an author and former Chicago Tribune legal editor. He documented his journey from atheism to Christianity in two books, "The Case for Christ" and "The Case for Faith." Strobel's newest book, "The Case for a Creator," was published in April. The hourlong program is expected to air Saturdays, 10-11 p.m. Eastern time on Pax. A network spokeswoman said the show will debut in September or October with the rest of the network's fall schedule. "We take faith seriously enough to put it to the test and see which viewpoint is the most credible," Strobel said in a statement announcing the show. "People feel strongly about these issues. My guess is that we'll have a lot of viewers shouting back at their TV sets!" "Faith Under Fire" plans to interview guests from religion, science and academia in a face-off format on issues regarding religion and spiritual beliefs.
