
Retired Ukrainian archbishop of Philadelphia writes autobiography

ENUMCLAW, Wash. (CNS) -- Retired Archbishop Stephen M. Sulyk of the Ukrainian Archdiocese of Philadelphia has written his autobiography, "I Am With You Always," published by Pleasant Word, in Enumclaw, a division of Winepress Publishing. "I Am With You Always" chronicles Archbishop Sulyk's life from his Ukrainian childhood to the travails of World War II, and his decision to get the education that would lead to his priestly ministry, including seminary formation in his adopted homeland of the United States. The book also tracks the history of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in the United States from its earliest immigrants in 1900 to the present day.
