STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (CNS) -- Catholic adults who want to learn more about their faith but do not have time to attend parish-sponsored classes or cannot seem to find the class that suits them need not look beyond their home computers. A new online adult faith formation program called Heart Mind and Strength University for Living enables Catholics to take classes on marriage, family, Scripture and faith, and other topics at their convenience. The newly developed program is currently accepting registration for its first series of online workshops beginning in March. Classes include: "The Single Christian: Flying Solo in a Noah's Ark World"; "Apologetics Without Apologies: How to Defend the Faith With Charity and Patience"; "Parenting With Grace"; and "For Better ... Forever! An Introduction to Creating an Incredible Christian Marriage." The workshops on average are six weeks long and consist of small-group formats, assignments posted online and opportunities for conversation with other class members and instructors. Through the university's Web site --www.hmsu.com -- students have online access to the "course room" 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for as long as the workshop lasts.
