SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (CNS) -- Msgr. Andrew T. Cusack, founder and director of the International Institute for Clergy Formation at Seton Hall University, died Jan. 19 at his family's vacation home at the New Jersey shore. He was 71 years old. His funeral was to be celebrated Jan. 24 at St. Dominic Church in Brick, with Bishop William E. Lori of Bridgeport, Conn., presiding. When Msgr. A certified clinical psychologist with experience as a pastor, high school counselor and diocesan administrator, he received permission in 1987 from the late Bishop Walter W. Curtis of Bridgeport to begin the institute at Seton Hall, which is located in South Orange in the Newark Archdiocese.
