Kentucky Ursuline nuns seek nominees for 2004 Angeline Award

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (CNS) -- The Ursuline Sisters of Louisville are accepting nominations for the 2004 Angeline Award, presented to a woman who possesses the qualities of their foundress, St. Angela Merici, and the Ursuline charisms and who addresses the needs and concerns of her time. Those proposed for the award should demonstrate Christian leadership by being actively involved with the challenges that women and families face today, such as illiteracy, poverty, violence, abuse, prejudice or addiction. Nominees also must have a personal connection to the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville through ministry, professional association, education, relationship or common goals and be able to receive the award in person at a ceremony on July 30.
