Nun, born same year as her favorite team, may make Fan Hall of Fame

MILWAUKEE (CNS) -- From a rocking chair in her living room, Sister Isaac Jogues Rousseau spends Sunday afternoons cheering for her beloved Green Bay Packers. What sets this avid Packers football fan apart from the millions of other "Packer backers" in the land of cheeseheads? The words on the School Sister of Notre Dame's specially embroidered game-day sweatshirt reveal the answer: "Green Bay Packers 1921 -- Me Too!" Yes, the enthusiastic cheerleader for Green Bay was born the same year the Packers joined the newly formed National Football League. What's more, Sister Rousseau was born in Green Bay. Her lifelong connection to the Packers and Green Bay makes Sister Rousseau a true fan -- and maybe even a "hall of fame" fan. Friends at Mount Mary College, where Sister Rousseau is a professor emeritus of Greek and Latin and volunteers as a tutor, nominated her for induction into the Packers Fan Hall of Fame.
