New magazine aimed at upwardly mobile Latinos on East Coast
Published: 2003-11-20
WILMINGTON, Del. (CNS) -- After spending a year as editor of a Wilmington-based magazine owned by someone else, Milton Delgado has made his own dream come true with the launching of Today's Latino, a bilingual quarterly magazine. Delgado, a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Bear, said Today's Latino "will showcase upwardly mobile Latinos" for readers all along the East Coast. Articles will be printed in both English and Spanish, he said, with a Spanish-language cover on one side and the English equivalent on the other. The magazine debuted in late October with a cover story on A.J. Melendez, a 12-year-old singer from Delaware who was a finalist on Fox TV's "American Juniors" show this summer. Subscriptions and more information are available by writing to: Milton Delgado, 217 N. Broad St., Middletown, DE 19709, or by e-mailing: TodaysLatino@aol.com.
