St. Joseph Messenger has expanded format, now printed in color

DAYTON, Ohio (CNS) -- St. Joseph Messenger, a monthly reader for Catholic children and families, has expanded to 20 pages per issue and is now printed in color, with a pullout section of exercises and activities. The publication retains its look and traditional content while offering more articles, an expanded activities section and graphics that "demonstrate the richness of the Catholic faith," according to an announcement on the new format. For the past six years, the reader has been written, edited and published by a group of Catholics concerned with what children are learning about their Catholic faith. It is designed as a supplement to the standard curriculum at Catholic schools as well as to materials used for home schooling. Published monthly during the school year, St. Joseph Messenger costs $30 for a one-year subscription and $50 for a two-year subscription.
