Our Sunday Visitor acquires Philadelphia envelope company

HUNTINGTON, Ind. (CNS) -- The offering envelope division of Our Sunday Visitor Inc. has purchased the church envelope accounts of Jefferies and Manz, a Philadelphia-based printing and offering envelope company that serves 150 churches. "Our Sunday Visitor plans to continue the tradition of excellent customer service, on-time delivery and quality products and services that have allowed Jefferies and Manz to be the supplier of choice in the Delaware Valley since 1918," said Kyle Hamilton, president of the OSV division. The sale was finalized Oct. 3. Hamilton said Oct. 9 that it was not yet known how many of Jefferies and Manz's 27 employees in Philadelphia will be retained. Our Sunday Visitor Inc., based in Huntington, also has a publishing division that produces Catholic books, parish-based faith formation materials and eight periodicals, including a national Catholic weekly newspaper, Our Sunday Visitor.
