Hibernian Society to hold annual Black Tie Ball

ATLANTA—The Hibernian Benevolent Society of Atlanta has announced its annual Hibernian Ball will be held Saturday, March 5, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Druid Hills Golf Club.

The evening will begin with complimentary champagne and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a four-course, sit-down dinner at 8 p.m. with dancing and entertainment.

The cost is $115 per ticket. Black tie is optional.

Music and entertainment will be provided by the Laigh Langley dance band and the King-O’Sullivan School of Irish Dance. The guest of honor is the new consul general of Ireland in Atlanta, Shane Stephens.

HBSA is pleased to offer this year’s ball in association with the launch of Irish Network-Atlanta. At the invitation of IN-ATL, Steve Lenox, president of Irish Network-USA, will speak at the event.

The chairperson of the Hibernian Ball is Lilly O’Neil.

The Druid Hills Golf Club is located at 740 Clifton Road, Atlanta.
