ATLANTA—Sophia Academy’s girls and boys basketball season ended with a tournament in which the girls won. The Sophia girls captured their second straight Atlanta Private Athletic Conference championship by defeating Swift School of Roswell in the semifinals and the Waldorf School of Decatur in the title game at Weller Park Recreation Center in Roswell. In a closely played game against Waldorf, the win was 14-10.

The boys’ team finished fourth in the eight-team tournament. Sophia Academy has won a tournament in at least one sport every year since joining the APAC, and this is the school’s second title this year. The girls also won a championship in volleyball.
