Bible study for women on Mark’s Gospel

Published January 22, 2015

ATLANTA—Keri Allen will be presenting “His Passion for You,” a life application Bible study on the Gospel of Mark for all women in the archdiocese from Feb. 12 through April 9 at Holy Spirit Church.

“Mark’s Gospel helps you persevere in your faith and stand firm for the truth even during difficult times,” Allen said.

This Lenten study, offered by Proclaim My Word ministry, is to help deepen one’s faith and relationship with Jesus.

“Mark will help you know and experience Jesus in your everyday life, if we allow Jesus to enter it,” Allen said.

“Christ’s love and passion for you enabled him to endure the cross,” she said. “Jesus’ suffering was not in vain and neither is yours. It can strengthen your faith and bring you into a deeper and more intimate relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.”

This nine-week study will be on Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. There is no charge for attendance or materials. Free will offerings are accepted to help fund the programs.
