ATLANTA—Christ the King School celebrated 28 years of service to the Midtown Assistance Center.

Nearly 50 young people filled four vans and a jeep with items donated by school families for the nonprofit.

The Peachtree Road school holds the record for the longest continuous service to the MAC.

After working at MAC and before lunch, the students visited the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and received a tour of the church and its history in Atlanta by Deacon Mike Balfour, pastoral administrator.
