“We wanted to give recognition to those athletes who had great success while at Blessed Trinity and who have followed through with that success after they graduated,” said Ricky Turner, the school’s athletic director. “Our mission is to recognize athletes who have brought recognition, honor, and distinction to Blessed Trinity Catholic High School through outstanding contributions to the athletic program. The Hall of Fame also honors coaches and athletic directors who have shown many years of dedication to the young men and women in their charge.”

Blessed Trinity will be taking nominations for first-time inductees until June 30. January 2015 will be the first induction with a formal presentation acknowledging the inductees. Student-athlete nominees must have graduated from BT at least 10 years ago. Coach/AD nominees must be retired from BT and no longer coaching at the school for 10 years also.

The Blessed Trinity Hall of Fame selection committee will include Blessed Trinity’s principal, Frank Moore, and athletic director, as well as four at-large members of the community and four employees.
