Youth learn how to be peer leaders

Published March 20, 2014

Oxford College of Emory University was the site of the YouthLeader 2013 event, hosted by the archdiocesan Office of Faith and Discipleship.

Its purpose was to train parish leaders, both teens and adults, for youth ministry. During the workshops, the participants learned skills in communication, planning and in other key areas to run effective ministries.

Sixty-eight young people and 19 adults spent from July 8-12 at the college located east of Atlanta in the town of Oxford.
