Rally For Religious Freedom Set For June 22 In Atlanta

Published June 7, 2012

The second Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally in Atlanta is set for Friday, June 22, at 7 p.m. at Marist High School. All are invited to attend.

The event, planned by an interfaith grassroots group of concerned Catholics and others, will feature Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory as the keynote speaker. Also included on the program will be Marist Father John Harhager, president of Marist School; Jackie Sample, a Georgia Tech student; Rev. Jay Hackett of Peachtree Corners Baptist Church, Norcross; Catherine Davis, founder and president of The Restoration Project; and Rep. Tom Price.

This rally continues the public demonstration of support for those fighting the HHS mandate forcing church-related organizations to engage in activities contrary to their moral beliefs.
