Young Adult Easter Event, ‘Pascua Juvenil,’ To Be Held

Published March 15, 2012

An Easter celebration, “Encountering the Living Jesus Christ,” will be held for young adults of the archdiocese on Saturday, April 14. The Archdiocese of Atlanta Office of Formation and Discipleship and the Hispanic Ministry Office are the sponsors.

The Easter celebration, “Pascua Juvenil,” is for young adults 18 and older. The celebration will provide them with an opportunity to intentionally reflect upon an encounter with the living Christ through presentations on topics including “The Way of Conversion,” “The Way of Communion,” “The Way of Solidarity” and “The Sendoff to Mission.” The speakers include Father Jose Duvan Gonzalez, Father Guillermo Cordoba, Father Pedro Poloche, Father Abel Guerrero-Orta, Father William Canales and Father Mario Lopez.

The event, which is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., will also provide an opportunity for fellowship and a means to identify some of the ministry needs of the Hispanic young adults in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

It will be held at St. Andrew Church, 675 Riverside Road, Roswell. Directions may be found on the Office of Formation and Discipleship website at http://www.archatl.com/offices/ofd.

A donation of $5 for food and materials will be collected.
