Marist Has 13 National Merit Semifinalists

Marist School has a record number of 13 semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Competition this year. Semifinalists are the highest PSAT scorers in each of the 50 states and represent less than 1 percent of each state’s high school seniors.

Alpharetta resident Claire Ittner achieved a perfect score. In addition to Ittner, the other semifinalists are: Timothy Connolly, Catherine Evans, Emily Fawcett, Thomas Heekin, Peter Melampy, Jill Morsberger, William Raffety, Gabriela Sauza, William Stamper, Lindsey Warren, Harrison Willingham and Kathryn Wood.
