The Our Lady of Mercy High School boys track team came in third in Class A at the state meet held May 12 while some on the team won individual events.

OLM’s Matt Lethbridge came in first in the 3,200-meter run, while his teammate Thomas Raville came in fourth. Jake Lethbridge came in first in the 1600m and 800m, with Matt Lethbridge third in the 1,600 and Christian Willis of OLM fourth in the 800. The Mercy 4x400m relay team of Willis, Jake Lethbridge, Matt Sanchez and Desmond Curry came in third. Ryan Bowman of OLM was sixth in shot put.

Athens Christian won the state title and Jenkins County placed second overall.
