Annual PATH Fundraiser To Feature Sister Act
Published: October 11, 2012
ATLANTA—This year’s fundraiser for PATH (Post-Abortion Treatment and Healing) will feature renowned inspirational speaker and singer, Kitty Cleveland. The event is to be held on Friday, Nov. 8, at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Atlanta, in Kenny Hall. A bonus this year will be the addition of Cleveland’s sister, Beth Maillho, sharing her own powerful and inspirational story.
The annual dinner celebrates the joy that the PATH organization helps bring to people through its ministry. PATH offers a confidential, Scripture-based program of comfort and healing for post-abortive men and women, in Rachel’s Vineyard retreats and several Bible study programs every year. PATH’s impact continues to grow every year throughout the archdiocese, empowering those attending to become spokespeople for life, taking their messages in caring, non-threatening terms to churches, schools, teen groups, and sharing informally in their daily lives.
The featured entertainer, New Orleans native Cleveland, began her full-time music ministry in 2000, appearing in concert throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. She has sung for the U.S. bishops in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, for U.S. senators in Washington, D.C., and with the New Orleans Opera, among other venues. Cleveland makes her home in the New Orleans area with her husband and their daughter, adopted from China in 2005. For more about Cleveland, go to
Maillho shared with her sister about 18 months ago that she had attended a Rachel’s Vineyard retreat. With encouragement from Cleveland, Maillho will offer a short presentation about her experience and transformation.
All are invited to attend the event. Tickets for the Nov. 8 dinner and concert are $50.00 per person. Groups are welcome. Cocktail attire is appropriate.
The dinner, catered by Petite Auberge, begins at 7 p.m. The JAS Trio will provide music. Donations will be solicited.
The Cathedral is located at 2699 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, GA 30305. Free parking is available in the deck across Peachtree Way.
