Pinecrest Quarterback Named Player Of The Week

CUMMING—Pinecrest Academy quarterback Jimmy Strom was recognized as the Offensive Player of the Week during the North Forsyth Fulton Touchdown Club (NFFTC) Player of the Week dinner on Sept. 24. Strom is the first Pinecrest player to win Player of the Week honors. He had 15 rushes for 201 yards in the Paladins’ 56-27 victory over the Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Mustangs, Sept. 15. He ran for five touchdowns, completed three of four passes for 62 yards, and threw for one touchdown pass. Breaking two Pinecrest school records, Strom scored the most touchdowns and rushed for the most yards in a single game.
