Marist Finds Its Groove With A Win Over Miller Grove

ATLANTA—Marist School extended its five-game winning streak in softball with a 9-1 victory over Miller Grove High School of Lithonia. Freshman pitcher Grace Packer had 12 strikeouts and held Miller Grove batters to one hit over six innings of play.
Sophomore shortstop Taylor Bradley was four for four with two doubles, two singles and four runs batted in. In the last four games dating back to Aug. 25, Bradley has been on base for 11 consecutive at-bats.
Marist (7-5 overall, 5-0 in region) takes on Carver (Atlanta) High School on Sept. 15 at home.
