Saluting Veterans, Active Military

Carol Anderson Kler is a 1989 graduate of West Point. The U.S. Army captain was deployed during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Today she serves as a second-grade teacher’s assistant at Holy Redeemer School, Alpharetta. The school’s Veterans Day program paid special tribute to women in the military.

Philip Cote Sr., in wheelchair, attends St. Andrew Church Veterans Day Mass with his son Philip Jr. Philip Sr. was a master sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1933-1958. Philip Jr. served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1972.
