Five Men To Be Ordained To Transitional Diaconate

ATLANTA—Atlanta Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory will ordain five men to the transitional diaconate for the Archdiocese of Atlanta on Saturday, May 16, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of Christ the King.
The men to be ordained are as follows: Mario Lopez, Chijioke Ogbuka, Thang Pham, Carlos Vargas and Thomas Zahuta.
Two others, Llane Briese and Michael Silloway, will be ordained to the transitional diaconate in Rome, Italy, in the fall.
Following their ordination, the men will serve one year as transitional deacons and are scheduled to be ordained to the priesthood next summer.
