To the Editor:
As members of the Body of Christ, we know that when one member suffers all members suffer with him, and also St. Paul reminds us in I Corinthians 13:6 that “Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.”
Our family of St. Helena suffered a terrible loss, which hurt us a lot, but thanks to the love and support of our community, many brothers, sisters and friends, we continue going on.
Something that distinguishes us Catholics is forgiveness. I ask you to continue praying for us in order to fulfill what Jesus taught us in St. Luke 6:27: “Do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.”
With a sincere thank you, we appreciate all your love, support, and friendship. May the love of God our Father, the grace of Jesus his Son and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit bless you forever and ever. Amen.
