CMLA Crowns Champs

The St. Thomas More sixth-grade girls team won the Catholic Metro League of Atlanta (CMLA) championship game to cap off an undefeated season. ATLANTA—The Catholic Metro League of Atlanta held its “Championship Saturday,” a single elimination tournament for grades five through eight at Our Lady of the Assumption School, Atlanta, Feb. 14. The league is comprised of boys and girls teams from 14 parishes and/or regional schools, grades three through eight. The 2008-2009 season included 274 teams with over 2,400 players.
