Local Schools Wrestle In Prep School Slam

ATLANTA—Blessed Trinity High School, Roswell, and Atlanta schools Marist and St. Pius X competed among 29 other schools from five Southeastern states in two gymnasiums, with three mats each, during the first Southeastern Prep School Slam. The Jan. 30-31 wrestling tournament, hosted by Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School, drew teams from Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina and Tennessee. The Baylor School of Chattanooga, Tenn., finished in first place. Archbishop Rummel High School of Metairie, La., and The Lovett School, Atlanta, tied for second place.
