Pinecrest Boys, Girls Are Double Winners

Cumming—The Lady Paladins of Pinecrest Academy defeated The Weber School of Atlanta 63-52. Sophomore guard Margaret Cassandra was the team’s leading scorer, followed by senior guard Danielle Anderson with 15 points. In the boys game sophomore guard Joe Neiner scored 27 points and freshman forward John DePalma added 16 points in Pinecrest’s victory over Weber 90-56. The Pinecrest boys (9-10 overall, 6-5 in the region) and girls (13-7 overall and 9-3 in the region) host Holy Spirit Preparatory in their regular season finale Friday, Feb. 6.
