Over the past year, readers and perusers, both occasional and frequent, of The Georgia Bulletin Web site may have noticed a new feature: the addition of visual and audio photo slideshows on the newspaper’s site.
The latest slideshow is an interview with Milton Hawkins of Corpus Christi Church, Stone Mountain, who was honored for his dedicated work with Catholic Mutual’s 2008 Risk Management Award. While the beaming photo at the presentation tells the story, the newest slideshow, found at www.georgiabulletin.org/photos, shares even more about Hawkins and his love for the church, his parish and his work.
Audio photo slideshows created in 2008 include “Irish Roots in Atlanta Are Deep, Historic,” “A Tribute to Atlanta Priests,” “Deacons’ Ministry Is At World’s Busiest Airport,” “St. Pius Traditions Connect Coaching Alums,” “St. Philip Benizi Celebrates Its International Diversity” and “Shared Stories Paint Portrait Of Couple’s Long Marriage.”
One slideshow was created with the help of Catholics around North Georgia to honor Archbishop Gregory’s 25th anniversary as a bishop: “An Archdiocesan Family Album: Our Pictures with Archbishop Gregory.” The slideshow proved to be so popular that a second one, also not-to-be-missed, “The Sequel” was added to the Bulletin Web site this week.
Readers who have missed the slideshows up to now can check them out at www.georgiabulletin.org/photos.
