To the Editor:
I would just like to make a comment concerning Father Behrens’ articles in The Georgia Bulletin and also his books. What a great writer he is and how much I enjoy reading his articles. Several years ago, when my husband and I were visiting the Monastery of Our Lady of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, I purchased a couple of his books and couldn’t put them down because they were so interesting and just very easy to get into. When I began to see his articles in The Georgia Bulletin, I was excited because of the enjoyment that I received from reading them. I’ve been meaning to write before now, but just haven’t done so. After reading the one in the Jan. 1 issue (“Star Gazing: A Son Reminisces”), I thought this could not wait any longer—what a great tribute to his mother.
