Vocations Talk Gets Rolling
Published: April 17, 2008
Holy Spirit Preparatory School students gather outside the 45-foot, eight-wheel luxury RV known as the “Vocation Van,” April 15. The van is a pilot program teaming up an apostolate of Regnum Christi and the archdiocesan Vocations Office to bring vocation awareness to Catholic schools. The van also stopped at Pinecrest Academy, Cumming, and during Vocations Awareness Week next year it hopes to make additional stops at other Catholic schools. (Photos by Michael Alexander)
Standing aboard the “Vocation Van,” Sister Maria Clemens, OP, far right, a teacher at St. Catherine of Siena School, Kennesaw, speaks to a 10th grade religion class at Holy Spirit Preparatory School, Atlanta, about vocations. She is joined by Lucy Honner, second from the right, a lay consecrated woman of Regnum Christi.
