The Knights of Columbus Mother Teresa Assembly, based at St. Theresa Church in Douglasville, recently volunteered as escorts for an enthused group of beauty queens at the Douglasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on March 14. The Knights were asked to participate as escorts for a senior beauty pageant after the center’s activities director noticed them in their tuxedos at a previous awards ceremony on Veterans Day.
