DUNWOODY—The All Saints Church conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Atlanta, was honored at the end of 2007 for its work serving those in need in the community. SVDP executive director John Berry presented a plaque to Msgr. R. Donald Kiernan at Mass on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, as an expression of gratitude for the pastor’s continuing and enthusiastic support of the St. Vincent de Paul mission in his church community.

With the generous support of the parish, the SVDP group at All Saints served over 1,400 individuals in their zip code of 30338 throughout the year, donating more than 3,300 service hours. The conference has also provided support to other SVDP conferences who needed more funds.

All Saints has an Up-Lift team that helps families for an extended time with budgeting, job opportunities, contacting government agencies that provide further help, and other areas. As faithful stewards, the group uses all donations for St. Vincent de Paul projects, as well as giving time freely with the goal of helping others succeed.

All Saints Church is located at 2443 Mount Vernon Road, Dunwoody.
