Middle School Champs Crowned

For the second consecutive year the eighth-grade boys from St. Peter Claver, Decatur, won the Catholic Metro League of Atlanta (CMLA) championship. DECATUR—The Catholic Metro League of Atlanta held its championship games for grades five through eight at St. Thomas More School, Decatur, Feb. 16.

The 2008 champions are:

Girls

Grade 5 – St. Brigid, Alpharetta

Grade 6 – St. Peter Chanel, Roswell

Grade 7 – St. Thomas More, Decatur

Grade 8 – Christ the King, Atlanta

Boys

Grade 5 – St. Jude the Apostle, Atlanta

Grade 6 – St. Thomas More, Decatur

Grade 7 – St. Peter Claver, Decatur

Grade 8 – St. Peter Claver, Decatur

The eighth-grade girls from Christ the King, Atlanta, were crowned champions of the Catholic Metro League of Atlanta (CMLA) following their Feb. 16 championship game at St. Thomas More School.
