Our Lady Of Lourdes Wins Championship

The Catholic Men’s Basketball League presented the championship trophy to the Our Lady of Lourdes team, Dec. 16, after they garnered a 9-1 record in the league’s inaugural season. Sy Brown of St. Gabriel Church, Fayetteville, was named the league’s most valuable player. Our Lady of Mercy’s Rodney Adams and Tony Caruso, Our Lady of Lourdes’ Kevin Rogers and Daryl Cooper and St. Mary Magdalene’s Darrin Helfers were named to the 2007 all-league team.
