To the Editor:

There is something we all can do to help this drought-stricken area besides decreasing water consumption. Let’s join in praying for rain—daily, hourly, as often as we can, for God to bring gentle, nourishing rain and take care of everyone suffering from this drought. If we persist at praying, God will take care of us; it worked for the farming community where I was raised.
