St. Mark’s Celebrates Queenship Of Mary

CLARKESVILLE—St. Mark Church marked the feast day of the Queenship of Mary on Sunday, Aug. 22, during Masses at the mountain church. Two of the parish’s first communion candidates crowned the statue of Mary and after communion, school teachers, administrators and school students came forward for a blessing from Father Abel Guerrero-Orta, as they began a new school year in the area public schools and colleges.

St. Mark’s is located at 5410 Highway 197 South in Clarkesville.
